A former Portuguese colony on the west coast of Africa, Guinea-Bissau is a small country which experiences warm weather throughout the year, with a great deal of rain falling from June to September due to the rainy season. The visa process to enter the country is rather complicated, but once in Guinea-Bissau visitors experience untouched wilderness and natural beaches, which are quite a sight indeed. A visit to the Forests of Jemberem in the Cantanhez Natural Park is worth considering, with chimpanzees visible throughout the Park.
