Republic of Congo

If you want to say hello to gorillas or wild chimpanzees, the Republic of Congo is your chance. This country, covered by dense rainforests and lush jungles, remains undiscovered among the tourist crowds. Large apes aside, few people know that there is great surfing at Point-Noire or that Odzala National Park is home to one of the least known tropical ecosystems in Africa. From the very French capital of Brazzaville to the white water rapids of the Congo River, the Republic of Congo is one of those places that stick to your memory long after you have left.
