Port Elizabeth

One of the oldest cities in South Africa, Port Elizabeth provides many fun activities near and on the water. King’s Beach, Pollock Beach and Hobie Beach are popular areas. Algoa Bay offers adventures for visitors, with diving along the reef and cruises to view dolphins and whales. Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum is located in Port Elizabeth, and was previously known as King George VI Art Gallery, and features South African art as well as works from Great Britain, China and India. International cricket matches are played at St George’s Park. Sports fans can also watch rugby union, soccer and water sports in Port Elizabeth.
