Livingstone

Many tourists go to Livingstone, Zambia for the famous attraction nearby, Victoria Falls. The giant waterfalls are located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, and the waters of the Zambezi River flow over the waterfalls that are close to two kilometres wide. Described by the locals as “The Smoke That Thunders”, Victoria Falls is over one hundred metres in height. Tourists can fly over the area, get up close to the river and waterfalls from viewing areas or watch from the Victoria Falls Bridge. Mosi O Tunya National Park and Victoria Falls Field Museum are other places to visit near Victoria Falls.
