Harare

Harare, previously known as Salisbury when the country was called Rhodesia, offers a variety of activities for visitors. To view nature, tourists will go to the Mukuvisi Woodlands and the National Botanic Garden. Harare is the location of most of the big sporting events in Zimbabwe with the National Sports Stadium hosting international soccer matches. Harare Sports Club is the venue that hosts cricket, both domestic and international games. A modern building in Harare is Eastgate Centre which has many shops. Tourists to Harare will also want to see the Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences as well as the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
