South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands should be next on your trip list if you want to discover something new. Much of these islands have been unexplored because of their remoteness. Be spontaneous and take the chance… exceptional sights will take your breath away. These two groups of sub-Antarctic islands can only be entered by sea, which will be an adventure in itself. Once there, you will lay eyes on emerald green bays and shimmering glacier ice. With a visit to Prion Island you can view an Albatross nesting area.  St. Andrews Bay holds a huge population of King Penguins for you to observe. These vacant shores are fantastic spots to take in all the wildlife in their natural habitats. Throw on a coat and grab your binoculars, it’s just a boat ride away.
