Thimphu

Thimphu, the capital city of the mountainous country of Bhutan, has a number of attractions for tourists. The Tashichho Dzong is an impressive complex that has been a monastery and a fortress in the past and is now where the Bhutan government is located. Another building to visit is The National Library of Bhutan, an impressive structure when viewed from the outside it also houses a large collection books and other items. The Thimphu Chorten is an inspiring monument and tourists will want to visit it when they are in Bhutan.
