Cambodia

Cambodia is a kingdom in every sense, only the treasures here take the form of temples, views, beaches and jungles. Phnom Penh is dizzyingly busy and alive, and Siem Reap is the place to be. Not to be missed is the spectacular Angor Wat, and the temples at Prasat Preah Vihear and Battambang, while not as big, are equally impressive. Beyond the temple trail, Cambodia is a country where you can ride a bamboo train, swim in a volcanic crater lake, hitch a ride through the jungle on an elephant, sail alongside dolphins in the Mekong River or simply sit on the beach and bask in the beauty all around you.
