Macau

Macau, a Special Administrative Region of China and formerly a Portuguese colony, is considered to be Asia’s Las Vegas. The Venetian Macao casino is one of the largest buildings in the world, and visitors can go on a gondola ride along the canals there. Other large casinos are located near the Venetian Macao on the Cotai Strip. Among the many exciting annual events that are held in Macau is the Macau Grand Prix which is raced on the streets of Macau. Historic areas of Macau to visit include St. Joseph’s Seminary and Church, Senado Square and Mount Fortress.
