Mumbai

Mumbai, also known by many as Bombay, is one of the largest cities in the world. The city has a rich history with not only Indian but Portuguese and British influences as well. Elephanta caves is a World Heritage Site and a popular tourist attraction, with its large sculptures of the Trimurti of Elephanta, Sadashiva and Nataraja. The Gateway of India is a famous structure to visit, located in the port area it is one hundred years old. Siddhivinayak Temple is two hundred years old and a rare idol of Ganesh is located there. Taraporewala Aquarium and Nehru Planetarium are educational and entertaining.
