Neil Island

A small and charming island in the Andaman archipelago, Neil is a striking place to stay where life is simple and all that you have to do is focus on yourself and relax for a while. This is where those that find Havelock Island not secluded enough come to, with only a handful of resorts and bungalows this is a place that will appeal to a certain type of traveller, if you fancy simple beach living and ordering your food two hours in advance of it being cooked then you will love Neil Island. Many people who come to the island do so for the wonderful snorkelling and diving, both of which can easily be arranged from the numerous dive shops on the resort and practised not far from the shore. The most relaxing area on the island is perhaps at Sunset Point where, naturally, people come to sip a beer whilst watching the beautiful sunsets that hover over the rest of the Andaman Islands. The main bazaar is the place to get cheap eats as there are a few food stalls which offer remarkably good value on curries and other Indian classics.
