Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world, made up of 18110 islands. The country boasts the second largest tropical forests in the world, and the climate is always warm and inviting, although depending on the time of year it will either by dry or raining. Bali is the most popular area to visit amongst tourists, boasting beautiful beaches and very unique culture. An interesting find is in Central Java, where the world’s largest Buddhist monument, dating from the 8th century. Indonesia is a wonderful place to go surfing, white water rafting or scuba diving, and the people of the various islands will make any stay memorable.
