Denpasar

Located on the resort island of Bali, Denpasar is often the arrival point for tourists as they land at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport.  Around Denpasar there are many shops and other attractions, including the Bali Museum, the temple of Pengerebongan, the large Badung Market and several historic palaces.  Visitors to Bali will also travel to nearby Kuta, to enjoy the many activities on the water and the beaches there, including surfing, and to go shopping around the Legian Street area.  Along with many types of restaurants, Kuta also has performances of Balinese dances to watch.
