Nagano

Nagano is famous for being the host city of the 1998 Winter Olympics Games, its abundance of historic temples and Snow Monkeys. Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park is the venue to see the Snow Monkeys. Visitors to Nagano can explore the facilities from the Olympics and see the torch and those who want to go skiing can do it at Shiga Kogen Heights Ski Resorts and Kurumayama Highlands Snow Resort. Zenkoji Temple is one of many famous places to visit, while shoppers can go to Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza which has more than two hundred stores.
