Tsu

Located on the shores of picturesque Ise Bay, Tsu was an important city during the past and was the location of Tsu Castle. Visitors can explore the parkland in that area, which still has moats that were built five hundred years ago. Tsu is the capital city of Mie Prefecture. Around Tsu, tourists can visit national parks as well as the many hot springs in the area. Also located in Mie Prefecture is Nagashima Spa Land. This large amusement park has some of the biggest roller coasters in the world, with the White Cyclone, Looping Star, Ultra Twister and Steel Dragon 2000.
