Lahore

Visitors to Lahore can choose to enjoy local festivals, watch sports, visit historic and picturesque buildings and gardens or eat a traditional Pakistani meal in one of the many restaurants. Imran Kahn, who had the nickname The Lion of Lahore, was a famous cricketer from the city. Cricket matches are played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Shalimar Gardens, Jilani Park and Gulshan Iqbal Park are popular locations to visit while the Lahore Museum, Mughal Emperor Jehangir’s mausoleum, tomb of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Library show some of the history of this region of Pakistan.
