Panglao

Located in the beautiful Bohol Province in the centre of the Philippine archipelago, Panglao is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area and with very good reason. The beaches are pristine with beautiful azure water and soft white sand and the diving is deservedly world famous. As the surrounding waters contain more biodiversity than in all of the Mediterranean Sea, this is the Philippine Isle that you dreamed of.

There are numerous places to stay, most notably along Alona Beach, which is also home to a great deal of the island’s entertainment but it is a welcoming place and in no time you will be sitting by the water with a cocktail in hand, lamenting the fact that you had never ventured here before.

Panglao is very popular for dolphin spotting as there are a great deal present in the surrounding region due to the availability of food and this can often be combined with a dive trip in the morning and is a trip not to be missed. The island is famous for its seafood and there are a number of specialist restaurants to be found on and around Alona Beach which offer the freshest quality at reasonable prices.
