Spratly Islands

Sitting in the South China Sea are hundreds of small islands just south of Hong Kong known as the Spratly Islands. Although overnight visits are not yet allowed, a relaxing day trip from Malaysia may be just the thing you need.  A quick flight will land you on the island of Layang Layang, which hosts an amazing scuba diving resort. Dive through crystal clear waters with unlimited visibility. To sure to have your underwater camera as these coral reefs and rich fishing grounds are as good as it gets. On land you can walk among sea birds and green sea turtles that bask in the sunlit skies. Visiting this tropical archipelago may be just what the doctor ordered.
