Ashmore and Cartier Islands

The Ashmore and Cartier Islands are a well kept secret. These islands are unspoilt by tourism and surrounded by waters abundant in marine life. Uninhabited islands off the northwest coast of Australia, they are beautifully preserved, just the way nature intended them to be. Ashmore reef is practically bulging with a rich and diverse avian and marine wildlife, protected as part of a National Nature Reserve. Cartier Island is a Marine Reserve and you will need a permit to see it. The best way to visit these islands is to sail in on a yacht charter and spend some time casually, and carefully, exploring all that’s on offer.
