Christmas Island

Beyond the steep cliffs of Christmas Island you will be surprised to discover the thick rainforest covering most of the inland island. Any trip to this untouched Indian Ocean Island is about exploring the natural delights such as discovering The Dales with its parallel streams running through the island’s dense rainforest or dipping into the bathing pool on Lily Beach. Get onto your bike or go by foot. Find blowholes along the cliffs of the south coast or stumble across the deserted Dolly Beach, ringed by black basalt rock and coconut trees. Offshore there is even more to explore with great diving and snorkelling off the coast at Flying Fish Cove.
