Cocos Islands

If you are looking for an island getaway without all the crowds and resorts, the Cocos Islands (or Keeling Islands) are waiting. Often referred to as a nature and water lover’s paradise, it’s easy to see why. Here you can unashamedly do nothing except spend time on the beach. For the more active, join in the annual lagoon swim from Home Island to West Island, or simply take up diving or windsurfing. Explore West Island by bike or walking along the beaches and inland paths. Take a tour of Home Island and discover more about its Malay culture. North Keeling Island is a national park requiring a permit but worth the visit.
