The Marshall Islands are a group of islands and reefs situated in the Pacific Ocean, in between Hawaii and Australia. As a result of their location bordering a typhoon belt the wet season runs from May to November, despite the high temperatures. Getting to the island by plane is possible from a number of countries in the surrounding Pacific waters, and visitors will land at Majuro International Airport. Seafood is popular on the Marshall Islands due to the ease of fishing and the abundance of water surrounding the islands and atolls, and as a result some local restaurants are expert at making delicious seafood meals.
