Wake Island

If you arrive to Wake Island, you are lucky to be there because it is a very hard destination to reach. It is a tiny island in the Pacific Ocean with sandy beaches, cool lagoons, and abundant tropical beauty. Very few people travel here so tourist accommodations are hard to come by. It has a short 12 miles of coastline and is made up of 3 island atolls, Wake, Wilkes, and Peale. It was created by underwater volcanoes and obtains warm waters and a tropical climate. One memorial that you can visit is the “98 Rock”, a tribute to the US prisoners that were once on the island. Make sure to bring your camera and snap some photos because you will definitely be seeing what few others will ever see.
