Punta Cana

Located on the eastern coast of the Dominican republic, Punta Cana is a haven for sun seeking tourists looking to stake claim to their sandy stretch of beach. With a population of around 325,000 residents, Punta Cana is one of the larger cities in the Caribbean.  The local economy is very dependent on tourism as the area is home to a myriad of hotels and resorts. The city is built well to serve the massive flow of tourists with over 50 resorts catering to their requests and 12 local golf courses.
