Haiti

The Caribbean country of Haiti was tragically hit by a devastating earthquake in January 2010, and as a result the tropical paradise has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, but visitors will still be able to enjoy a trip to Haiti’s northern port, Labadee.  This private resort is a port of call for various cruise line ships, and it is fenced off from the surrounding areas to allow guests to enjoy maximum security and relaxation in an exclusive beach setting. Wave runners and kayaks are popular ways of exploring the peninsula.
