Port-au-Prince

Port-au-Prince, Haiti is the city well known for the disastrous earthquake that occurred here in 2010 killing over 230,000 people. The city remains in shambles after the devastating quake that destroyed many historically significant buildings. Aid has been deployed to the city from around the world, however these efforts remain a work in progress as the chaos in the city is unfathomable after this horrific event.  Tourism has fallen off completely other than the massive influx of aid workers who are working with the Haitian people to restore at least some normalcy.
