Navassa Island is an uninhabited piece of land in the Caribbean that is a National Wildlife Refuge, with a number of interesting marine life, as well as flora and fauna calling the island home. Visitors need permission from the Fish and Wildlife Office before entering the territory. It is not easy to get onto the island, as there are no airstrips or harbours, but an offshore anchorage is used, and some Haitian fishermen have camped on the island while in the area catching fish. This island is certainly unique and solitude is the name of the game.
