This Central American country is home to some of the most beautiful natural sites that are also easily accessible. Dive right in to the wonders of the ocean at Hoi Chan Marine Reserve, Placencia Peninsula or on Glover’s Reef. Or explore the jungles teeming with wildlife. Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, the Mayan ruins at Lamanai and Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary are all good places to spot some animals or ancient artefacts.
