Guatemala City

With a population of nearly 3.7 million, Guatemala City is the largest city in Guatemala and is also the capital. Located inland in the center of the country, the sprawling city sits in the shadows of four volcanoes, making for an intriguing skyline. Soccer is a huge sort and the local fans are infatuated with the three main clubs. The city has a very different vibe than other coastal location in Central America as tourism has not come and changed the economy like it has in many other areas nearby. Because of this, Guatemala is a great city to tour and offers an immense variety of historical and natural sites for tourists.
