San Pedro Sula

Located in the Sula Valley in Honduras, San Pedro Sula is home to nearly 2 million residents. The city is home to many attractions and a transit point to the nearby Copan ruins which is a popular tourist destination.  Spanish colonization played a role here dating back 400 plus years. The city has avoided much of the modern tourist wave to Central America and the Caribbean and remains very original and authentic, making it a favorite among culture minded travelers. The city enjoys a pedestrian friendly cityscape with wide boulevards that make it a very attractive and livable city.
