Big Corn Island

A beautiful and rustic travel experience can be found here, where few tourists dare to travel due to the lack of real infrastructure. If you are willing to make the effort though you will be hugely rewarded by the wonderful hospitality of your hosts. With less to do than Little Corn Island this is an island for exploring to find undisturbed beaches, tropical wilderness and beautiful hills. You can easily find companies that rent watersports equipment from Picnic Beach if venturing here is adventure enough for you. If you fancy a more remote, secluded beach then head to the South End and have a wander.

The island prides itself on having a four-day weekend so although it may not be as busy as its sister island you can still party with the locals, most bars are located on the beachfront and are easy to find. Although the accommodation on the island is relatively limited you can generally find somewhere to suit your budget. The accommodation around Shipwreck Beach is very popular and has everything a traveller could need. Make sure you try the fruit, the islanders claim it’s the best in the world.
