St Anton

Offering spectacular scenery, reliable snow and challenging skiing and snowboarding, St Anton is an ideal winter vacation ski resort for those who want to party hard and ski hard.

There are some runs for beginners but the intermediates who want to challenge themselves and advanced skiers will find more terrain to suit them. Off-piste skiing is also challenging.

Although there is plenty of terrain on St Anton, when you include Lech and Zurs (which can be reached by bus), the available skiable terrain is massive.

Located in a valley, the pedestrian only village is compact and very pretty. It is lively day and night. There is a buzzing après ski scene with numerous bars and lively discos to burn off any excess energy after a day on the slopes.

With over 60 cafes and restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, there is no need to feel hungry. They range from top class dining to casual cafes.

Accommodation is plentiful and to suit all budgets. There are a number of classy hotels but there are also bed and breakfast places and chalets.

Alternative activities include sleigh rides, ice-skating, curling, bowling and tobogganing.
