A winter ski holiday at Bansko in Bulgaria is excellent value for money. The resort has a modern lift infrastructure to get skiers quickly to the slopes, some of which are tree lined.

Family friendly Bansko is great for fun and relaxation both on and off the snow. The staff, including the ski instructors, are helpful and patient. Visitors get a lot for their money at Bansko, particularly when prices are compared to many of the ski resorts offering winter vacations closer to the United Kingdom.

The resort is more suited to those seeking runs that are not too challenging or want to improve skills or work on their technique. There are some very gentle blue runs for beginners to learn the sport and find their balance. The home run is particularly inviting as it is wide and long. The slopes are prepared well for a great day on the snow.

Other activities available at Bansko include renting a snowmobile or taking a twirl on the ice rink.

There is no need to go hungry after a day having fun in the snow as are many different types of very affordable and tasty food available.

Accommodation is available to suit just about all budgets.
