Aix en Provence

Aix en Provence is one of the most beautiful cities in the south of France and has a really young and vibrant feel to it. Old Aix is a charming area with leafy and fountain squares every 50 metres. With beautiful old churches it is the perfect place to wander and explore. Most of the other museums are in the Quartier Mazarin and include works by Cezanne who studied here. Aix has many restaurants to suit most budgets and superb local produce. The food markets held in the streets are excellent and with many beautiful towns within a short drive Aix En Provence makes the perfect base for a holiday.
