Courchevel

There is something for every ability level at Courchevel in France. Over half of the runs at this popular, massive resort are suitable for beginners and intermediates which leaves plenty for skiers seeking more challenging terrain.

Courchevel is open from early December until the end of April. Every night during the season teams groom the slopes so visitors can begin the day with compacted, smooth, snow.

The infrastructure at Courchevel is outstanding with 180 state-of-the-art lifts that include 2 cable cars, 33 gondolas and 38 high speed chair lifts. With this number of lifts you will get to the top of the run quickly.

Whether you need to learn how to ski, want lessons for the children or to refine your technique, Courchevel ski school has an instructor to help.

Out on the slopes, there are areas to suit your mood. These areas include the Zen Zones for those who want peace and quiet to learn the art of skiing or practice their moves, the Stop Zone for those who want to perfect this skill to name a few.

Accommodation, whether it is for a romantic weekend away or for a large group, is plentiful and to suit all budgets.
