Le Mans

Le Mans is located between Normandy and the Loire Valley and is renowned the world over for its motor racing. The circuit is on the outskirts of the city and there is also a museum dedicated to the history here. Visiting a race can be pricey but worth the experience. Le Mans also has a memorial to Wilbur Wright who flew an early aircraft here, and has lots of historic buildings and monuments all over the town. There is a lively night life scene in Le Mans with some good clubs and jazz bars.
