Nancy

The historic town of Nancy is dominated by the gilded square in the centre of town called La Place Stanislas which was laid out by King Stanislas of Poland in the 1750’s. Toe Hotel de Ville also stands on one side of the square making it a very ornate and impressive town centre. Nancy has parks and interesting museums as well as elegant designer shops. Just a short drive away the Vosges Mountains make an interesting day out for some walking or skiing in season and there are some really picturesque towns and villages in the area to explore.
