Nantes

Nantes is an elegant and historic town and gateway to the beautiful Loire Valley. The Chateau des Ducs in the city is magnificent and the cathedral is another popular landmark. The Jules Verne Museum also attracts visitors to this beautiful town and is in the old part of the city. Tasting locally produced wine is a must do in one of the world’s greatest wine growing areas and why not have a good meal in one of the many first class restaurants as well. Many people visit the chateaux which are all over the Loire Valley and are a major highlight of any visit.
