Quimper

Quimper is the oldest city in Brittany and a beautiful place to spend time. Full of Breton legend it has some great bars and restaurants serving Breton cuisine and beautiful riverside walks. The old cobbled streets of the medieval quarter add some atmosphere to this delightful town and many people visit beautiful Cathedrale St Corentin. Faience is a tin glazed earthenware made in Quimper and the town has an excellent museum about its origins. With excellent beaches and a stunning coastline within easy driving distance Quimper is a great destination for a holiday in Brittany.
