St Tropez

Famous for its glamour and beaches, tiny bikinis and Brigitte Bardot, St Tropez is a popular Mediterranean resort. There are many expensive yachts and the Old town gets really busy in summer with hoardes of tourists. Just along the coast the Pampelonne beach is famous as starting topless sunbathing and is just one of several places to soak up the sun. There are historic parts of St Tropez to visit too like the Musèe de L’Annonciade in a sixteenth century chapel, and with chic designer shops and exclusive restaurants this is a destination to see and experience.
