Toulouse

Known as the Pink City Toulouse is a major city in South Western France and renowned for its love of rugby. It is also home to Aerospatiale, the driving force behind Concorde and the leading aeronautical schools. There are beautiful old buildings here, some excellent food markets and quaint narrow streets in this city on the Garonne. Toulouse has a university and so there are several bars and cafes all over the city and a great atmosphere. The city also makes an excellent base to explore Languedoc and the other areas of South West France.
