Bonn

Once the capital of Germany, Bonn has developed into a fascinating commercial centre, and is a wonderful cultural and cosmopolitan city. Visitors can take the Path of Democracy Tour to get a flavour of the political past and perhaps visit the Schaumburg Palace. The art museums attract many visitors but it is in summer when Bonn is transformed into a giant stage. Bonn Summer is a very popular cultural festival in the city with a number of performances. The Rhine in Flames events in summer are another excellent reason for coming to Bonn, and for punk, blues and rock fans the Rheinkultur Festival is a major event in this interesting city.
