Hamburg

A proud Hanseatic port in Northern Germany, Hamburg is renowned for its trading past and hospitality. There are historic warehouses where the fortunes of the city were built trading on spices, coffee and tea, and sophisticated shopping on the banks of the Alster. The nightlife in St Pauli and the Reeperbahn is among the liveliest in Europe and Hamburg is where the Beatles had some of their earliest concerts. A visit to Hamburg is not complete without a trip to the Sunday morning Fish Market where anything and everything is sold and a breakfast of beer and sausage is all part of the experience.
