Leipzig

An elegant and historic city, Leipzig is a real masterpiece. There are books all over town and trade fairs, and Leipzig is also known as the City of Heroes following the peaceful revolution of 1989. The Old Town is at the heart of the city and there are many medieval buildings that sit alongside post communist era architecture. With renaissance style the city has played host to some of the world’s best composers and writers who spent time composing in this inspirational location. Goethe, Liszt, Schumann and Bach have all walked these streets during their time in Leipzig and created their masterpieces.
