Munster

A delightful historical town in Westphalia Munster is rich in culture and heritage. This is where the famous Peace of Westphalia ended the Thirty Years War in 1648. This is a green city with two bikes for each resident and most of the population cycling to work and around the city. The car free ring road surrounding the city is the only one of its kind in Europe. Munster has some idyllic squares and historic buildings to explore and the Rothenburg is a great place for shopping. Kiepenkerl Quarter and the combination of old buildings with art and music venues has made it a charming part of the city.
