Neuss

Dominated by the imposing tower of the Quirinus Munster Neuss is an attractive and interesting place to visit near Düsseldorf. Founded by the Romans there are many historic points of interest all over town reflecting its past including the famous medieval siege. At one time the city even minted its own coinage. The Botanical Gardens are a major attraction and with a great shopping centre and fine local cuisine this is a place to visit on the banks of the Rhine and to experience the welcoming atmosphere in this part of Germany.
