Regensburg

A medieval town with history spanning 2000 years, Regensburg is a major attraction to visitors as it is home to the city with the largest concentration of pubs in Germany. There are more than 1500 listed buildings making the area around the Old Town and Stadtamhof a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are several museums and galleries such as the Cathedral Treasury Museum, and the Adler Pharmacy. In Regensburg there is a vibrant arts scene with music and culture to suit most tastes, and a shopping area which is one of the best in Germany with malls and quirky designer shops.
