Ulm

Visitors to Ulm actually get two towns for the price of one. Since 1810 there has been Ulm itself and the Neu Ulm on the other side of the river with one having the air of a busy city and the other a more historical laid back place to see. Ulm Minster, otherwise known as “The Finger of God”, is the tallest church tower in the world. There are many interesting places to wander around in Ulm from the astronomical clock to the replica of Berblinger’s flying machine- the legendary Tailor of Ulm. This is the birthplace of Albert Einstein and with museums and historical buildings all over town Ulm is a great place to explore.
