Wurzburg

Known as one of the most enchanting, beautiful, and hospitable towns in Germany Wurzburg is popular with visitors. This is a young university town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and effortlessly combines culture with wine. Many people come to see the Residenz Palace and the Marienburg Citadel which are the most popular places and then there is the Riemenschneider collection of towers around the city. Many artists have made their mark in Wurzburg which is a wonderful cultural centre, and with excellent restaurants and some good bars this is a superb town for a short break.
