Brescia

Brescia is the second city in Lombardy after Milan and boasts a rich art and architectural heritage. The Roman ruins include the Tempio Capitolino which now incorporates a museum and theatre, and the Pinacoteca Civica Tosio Martinengo containing art by Raphael and Michelangelo. The market in Brescia is held in the Piazza della Loggia which was built by Palladio. Brescia is a great city to explore with something of interest around every corner.
